Yurii "Bald" Kondrakhin is a fan of the "Metalurg" football club (Mariupol).
Yuri Anatoliyovych Kondrakhin was born on September 19, 1999 in the city of Mariupol. He studied at city school No. 28, and after graduating from it, he entered the Higher Professional Metallurgical School No. 99, where he obtained the specialty of machinist's assistant. He was fond of sports from an early age: from the freestyle wrestling section in junior high school to boxing in his youth. Sitting in one place was not about little Yurk.
He started attending matches of Mariupol "Metalurga" in the fan section in November 2015. He defended the honor of the club in the "forest", in bandages and with a mouth guard.
Yuri's close friend and teammate recalls one of his trips to the city of Kramatorsk in 2016: - "Yura "Bald" was one of the youngest representatives of the Mariupol fan movement at the time. At that time, everyone thought that this trip would be an ordinary routine for a fan, so to speak. But Yura and a number of guys didn't think so. Without saying anything to anyone, they carried pyrotechnics and smoke into the stadium, and created a real fan atmosphere in the away sector. What attracted the attention of Kramatorsk fans. During the break between halves, there was an offer from representatives of Kramatorsk to fight. Nobody at at that time he was not preparing for a fight, they thought it was going to be another ordinary outing. Yura was one of those guys who agreed without any hesitation and went to the fight with a smile on his face! We then won a quick victory, but there was an agreement between the representatives not to announce the result So, thanks to "Lysom", such an ordinary outing became a pleasant memory and remained in the memory forever."
According to the memories of relatives and friends, Yuriy loved active recreation and traveling in Ukraine most of all. Whether it's to Kyiv - to support your home club or national team, or to Lviv - to taste local chocolate, or to Transcarpathia - to admire the scenery and taste herbal teas.
In 2020, he signed a contract to serve in the ranks of the separate special purpose unit "Azov". He took the call sign "Steve" and served as a driving instructor for the operational platoon.
In the memories of relatives and brothers, Yuriy will forever remain a very positive and cheerful person. He was a nationalist and an ardent patriot, with many plans for life. But most of all Yuri loved his native Mariupol. He was purposeful and visionary. Struggled with injustice. They dreamed of getting married and building a family with their beloved Sofia as soon as the war ended.
A few days before the start of the full-scale war, Yuriy took his girlfriend from Mariupol to her parents in Zaporizhzhia. Being in hellish urban battles surrounded by the city, he tried to support and calm his own sister at every opportunity.
During the defense of the city, he sometimes called from the roofs of high-rise buildings to say that he was alive and to find out what the situation was with his loved ones. His last words to his beloved were: - "Suddenly, don't take offense at me, we have city battles. I will stand for you and my city to the last, no matter what."
