Yevgeny Fedorovych Yeschenko was born on October 9, 1994 in Mykolaiv. He studied at school No. 20, as well as at the Maritime Lyceum No. 5. At an early age, he was fond of contact martial arts, engaged in kyokushinkai karate, multiple prize-winner of competitions of various levels. Always engaged in sports, ran a lot and was physically developed. Later, he fell in love with mountains and became fond of hiking, climbed Pip Ivan and Petros.
In 2011, he began to visit the fan section of Mykolaiv FC. In the summer of 2011, the "Buzky Guard" collective was formed in the city, and Evgeny became an integral part of the fan group from the first days of its existence. From the youth team, he was promoted to the main team almost immediately.
According to the recollections of teammates: - "At that time, the main composition of the company did not attract young people, having an almost ideal age format for itself, but after the first arranged fight of the youth wing - Zheka immediately got into the base, performing in both youth and main themes of the team. Despite the damage received during the fight, always stood until the end."
With the start of the Revolution of Dignity, the Mykolaiv fan movement actively manifested itself in the native city, and some representatives opposed the criminal authorities on the streets of the capital. "Maly" was one of those who took part in significant revolutionary events in both Mykolaiv and Kyiv.
As soon as the war in the East began, the core of the BG team joined the (at that time) "Azov" battalion. Together with friends from the fan sector, and now brothers, Yevgeny liberated Mariupol in 2014, a participant in the battles in Shirokino. In the following years, he decided to connect his life with "Azov", constantly improving himself in military affairs.
Despite the service, he did not forget about his fan family and took part in all international fights, which the team confidently held in the second half of the 10s. In 2020, he married his beloved Yulia, in that year the young couple had a daughter, Oleksandr. Yevgeny saw himself only as a soldier, always tried to acquire new skills, did not waste his free time simply, planned to get a higher education and build a military career.
"Maly" met the beginning of a full-scale war as part of the reconnaissance group "Azov" in Mariupol. When contacting his brothers, he asked to take care of his mother, he knew that there would be difficult battles ahead and he was fully aware of all possible consequences. As in fights, he had no back, the experience gained during his years of service gave him confidence in his own actions, so he certainly did not feel fear, on the contrary, he expected the most difficult battles.
His group resisted the enemy offensive in the most dangerous areas of the breakthroughs, performing a very large volume of work. Yevgeny Yeschenko died on March 20, 2022 during an assault on one of the positions. He took the last battle together with his close friend Kostyantyn Belimenko.
