Vitaly Nikandrov is a fan of Arsenal football club (Bila Tserkva).
Vitaliy Mykolayovych Nikandrov was born on July 21, 1995 in the city of Bila Tserkva (Kyiv region). He studied at school No. 22 in his hometown. Since childhood, he was fond of sports, in particular, boxing and football. He won prizes at boxing competitions and was an ardent football fan. After graduating from school, he entered Bilotserkiv PTU No. 5, majoring in auto mechanic.
In 2010, Vitaly's love for football and street adventures brought him to the fan section of the local "Arsenal". Since at that time the fan movement in Bila Tserkva was just reaching its peak of popularity, the enterprising young man became one of its founders and leaders in the sector. He supported the team at home and away matches, sometimes breaking away single-handedly. For example, you can still find photos on thematic sites where only one fan supports the team during Arsenal's matches in Ternopil and Nikopol. He also actively attended the matches of "Alexandria", with the movement of which Belotserk fans have developed friendly relations. Teammates remember that in those years Vitaly, always proactive, was a real spark for the movement.
After graduating from school, in October 2013, he voluntarily joined the army (National Guard of Ukraine). At that time, his motto in life was the following saying: - "I'm going to serve - somewhere further and where it's tougher." In the spring of the following year, the Russian invasion of eastern Ukraine began, and on October 5, 2014, Vitaly was sent to Shyrokyne (Donetsk region), where he participated in the anti-terrorist operation.
After demobilizing from the National Guard in 2015, he realized that his vocation was to become a defender of his family and native land. He said: - "Who but me." In September 2016, he entered the Odessa Military Academy. He was trained according to NATO standards in the city of Yavoriv. During the years of study at the academy and after its graduation, he actively manifested himself in many spheres of life. He took part in Independence Day parades, running sports competitions, as well as a football tournament among sports clubs of Avdiivka during his service in 2021.
Despite his busy military schedule, he always found time for his family and his favorite football. I knew almost all Ukrainian and foreign football clubs. I was interested in everything related to them. On February 11, 2022, in the rank of lieutenant, he was sent by the commander of the intelligence unit to the border of three countries (Ukraine, Russia, Belarus). From that time until the moment of the full-scale invasion, he was in various settlements. After February 24, 2022, he defended Kyiv, Gostomel, and Buchi. He had a positive attitude and was not afraid of anything, he always assured: - "Everything will be in Ukraine!".
After participating in the defense of the capital, he received the rank of senior lieutenant and was the assistant chief of the intelligence staff of the 1st rifle battalion of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade in the city of Zaitseve (Donetsk region). Vitaly Nikandrov died in battle near Bakhmut on August 12, 2022. They said goodbye to a devoted football fan and faithful son of Ukraine in his hometown.
