Svyatoslav "Saint" Kirilin is a fan of the "Zirka" football club (Kropivnytskyi), a representative of the "Howl Volcano Firm" team.
Svyatoslav Pavlovich Kirilin was born on June 13, 1994 in the city of Kropyvnytskyi (formerly Kirovohrad). Studied at Lisivska comprehensive school, received basic secondary education. In 2010, he entered the Kirovohrad Mechanical Engineering College of the Kirovohrad National Technical University. As a child, he was fond of break-dancing (dance club "Forsyth"), working out, rap culture, went to the school theater group. Participated in the first season of the show "Maidan's".
Even as a child, Svyatoslav showed love for will and freedom. When his parents punished him for some wrongdoing and forbade him to go out to meet his friends, he waited for the moment when everyone fell asleep. I climbed the apricot tree that grew under the house, and when it was cut down, the gas pipes came in handy. The young man became interested in football culture at an early age together with his classmate and, at the same time, his best friend. A funny story happened to them during the creation of a characteristic image, namely a friend's hairstyle. Svyat agreed to the role of a hairdresser, but the clipper broke down halfway to the end of the process, and the guy had to go with a rather specific hair for a while, until they found a working trimmer from friends.
Teammates from the team remember that Svyat came to the podium as a teenager and immediately began to "turn on" what, where and how. - "He became one of the so-called "new wave" of Vulcans, who created, in fact, what is called today's H.V.F. Svyatoslav was a Cossack with a cool and natural sense of humor and lightness, which is immediately felt from a person of good character. Retreat - it was not about him, but he was always ready and always strived to get into a steep fallow, or to defend his colors. You can say that Svyat is an example of how not to be a fashionable athlete, with coloring on the body, to be a lion inside and naturally an adventurer who always moved our country forward! Having shown himself both in the forest and in classic football-related meetings, he forever inscribed himself in the history of our movement. For Svyatoslav, it was a pride to wear the company's t-shirt, and now it is a pride for all of us that we we can be a part of the world in which a real modern Knight of the Spirit lived and fought!" - friends share memories.
At the end of 2013, football fans were at the forefront of those who rose up against the then criminal authorities. In 2013, he took an active part in the Revolution of Dignity, defended his beliefs in the rights and freedoms of the Ukrainian people.
Soon, the Russian invasion began in the East of the country, and in February 2015 Svyatoslav joined the army. He repeatedly participated in anti-terrorist operations in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions as part of the 128th separate mountain infantry brigade. In 2018, the contract ended, and immediately after it ended, he again went to defend Ukraine as part of the 3rd special forces regiment. Participated in the OOS in Donetsk region. During his years of military service, he received honors and awards, including: Badge "For Exemplary in Military Service" III degree (2016), Medal "For Military Service to Ukraine", 2017 and others.
In 2020, Svyatoslav resigned for the second time, planning to focus on civilian life, and got a job at the Victoria-Feliz company, where he was engaged in the installation of cellular communication equipment. But the plans remained unfulfilled. The very next day after the start of a full-scale war, he voluntarily went to defend his native land from the enemy invasion. He served as a sniper of an amphibious assault platoon in the 35th brigade of the 137th separate battalion of marines.
When Svyatoslav came home on vacation after successfully completing another combat mission, he told many stories. Relatives most remembered the story about his combat comrade "Bubochka", also known as two meters of incongruity. In civilian life, "Bubochka" professionally engaged in beekeeping. On especially loud nights, when they were surrounded by enemy artillery, the boys asked him to tell some facts about bees, in order to distract from the noise that was coming from everywhere. Svyatoslav was so fascinated by these stories that after the victory he was also going to take up beekeeping and extract drone homogenate, which, judging by the conversations, has almost magical properties, increases endurance and does not harm health. Unfortunately, the plans were not destined to come to life.
Svyatoslav Kirilin died on October 25, 2022 near the village of Davydiv Brid (Kherson region) while performing a combat mission. The day before, they captured new positions, knocking out Russian paratroopers. Having occupied these lines, the very next day they came under mortar fire. On the morning of October 25, one of the mines hit their trench. Two brothers died immediately, and Svyatoslav was seriously injured by fragments. Being wounded, he continued to adjust our artillery until the last. Later, the order to retreat came, the brigade carried out the order, but Svyat did not make it to the hospital, the injuries turned out to be incompatible with life... He was buried on the Alley of Honorable Burials of the Far Eastern Cemetery in the city of Kropyvnytskyi.
