Stanislav "Metro" Partala is a fan of "Metalist" football club (Kharkiv) and a representative of the Kharkiv City Patriots team.

Stanislav Partala was born on October 5, 1984 in Kharkiv. In the second half of the 00s - early 10s, he actively supported "Metalist" at home and away matches. He was the main fighter of the KCP team. The most active years of the fan life of "Metro" were during the heyday of Ukrainian around football movement. He became a true legend of his movement because he was a very extraordinary person. People all over the country told stories about him, and some of them deserve to be filmed as an adventure movie.

Back in the days of his active participation in the life of the around-football team, "Metro" showed certain character traits and skills. Out-of-the-box thinking in extreme situations, determination to act in situations where most people would have failed. In the years when around football battles turned rapidly into professional martial arts, Stanislav found confidence and courage even when he was inferior to his opponent in strength or skill. He was laconic and focused on victory. "A scout sent by God" - comrades-in-arms will be saying years later, recalling Stanislav's successful military operations. Everything looked as if life was preparing him for military glory but in its own, always unpredictable way.

But now it is still only 2014. The Revolution of Dignity had just begun in Ukraine. Stansislav, the resolute Kharkiv citizen, immediately came for the forefront of the people's struggle for their rights and freedom. He was among a small group of patriots who stopped pro-russian militants in Rymarska Street on the night of March 14-15, 2014. A month and a half later, he helped Ukrainian nationalists to fight separatists on the streets of Odesa. As the Ukrainian fan community later mentioned, the arrival of Stanislav and other "Metalist" fans to that match significantly helped local activists to defend the city on the bloody day of May 2. With the beginning of the russian invasion in Donbas, Stanislav became one of the first volunteers of "Azov", thus starting his glorious military career.

Stanislav Partala began his legendary rise among the military elite of the country. He was an ordinary "Azov" fighter, destroying russian equipment and capturing enemies in the endless steppes of Donbas during the Anti-Terrorist Operation. His strong character and useful skills from civilian life were helpful in the war, "Metro" led a group in the "Azov" National Guard regiment. As of November 2016, the sergeant was a senior instructor (deputy platoon commander) of the 1st section of the reconnaissance platoon of the 1st battalion of the operational designation of the "Azov".

One of the most well-known military deeds of the Azov warrior, which can be mentioned, is the evacuation of the body of perished comrade near Pavlopil. Then risking his own life, Stanislav Partala, together with a group of scouts and sappers, attempted to take away the body of his fallen comrade. The sappers, who were moving ahead, hit an explosive device, and two of them were wounded. The group began to be fired upon, but thanks to sergeant Partali's experience, the group managed to withdraw, the wounded were evacuated and the body of the deceased was taken out.

Another well-known incident took place near the village of Zaitsevo. Thanks to the professionalism and skillful leadership of a brave commander, a sabotage and reconnaissance group of the enemy was destroyed: four militants were killed, and one was captured. In general, during the years of his stay on the frontline, Stanislav Partala conducted countless successful missions. He also entered the enemy-occupied territories and killed dozens of enemies by himself. During his military service, he received awards twice (from two presidents). He was awarded the Medal "For Courage" (III and II degree) in 2016 and 2017, as well as the title "National Hero of Ukraine" in 2020. However, those who knew Stanislav well could notice that he was not interested in awards at all, but in the quality performance of the tasks.

With the beginning of the full-scale russian invasion, "Metro" defended Mariupol. Thanks to him, as well as other warriors like him, the city held out for so long, taking away the occupiers' forces from other fronts. On February 27, 2022, enemy warships appeared in the waters of the Sea of Azov and began shelling the coast and tried to land marines. The battle was accepted by the marines of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who successfully repelled three attempts of the invaders to step ashore. Subsequently, the marines were forced to retreat for regrouping. Covering their withdrawal and temporary holding of the coastal borders was entrusted to their fellow National Guardsmen - the group of the Azov Special Forces. Within 48 hours, the "Azov" repelled four attempts of landing marine troops, inflicting significant losses to the enemy. Lieutenant Partala killed eight invaders and sank two enemy boats.

The last battle the mighty warrior was in, took place on March 2. He and his troops completed the task of mining the possible ways of the enemy's advance. They were returning to the point of deployment, but in the area of Kalynivka village, they faced a much larger group of the enemy, which tried to surround them. Lieutenant Partala skillfully organized the repulsion of the attack, during the battle, the National Guardsmen destroyed three armored vehicles of the enemy (two of which he destroyed). Having been seriously wounded, "Metro" continued to lead the battle and managed to bring his unit to the staging area. But medics could not save the life of the courageous commander.

The sad news of the death of a faithful son of Ukraine quickly spread among fans. Many noted that with the death of "Metro" they lost not only a true knight of war but also a part of that romantic around-football life of the early last decade, which we all fondly remember and miss so much. Being one of the most active football fans, Stanislav Partala inscribed his name in the history of the liberation struggle of the Ukrainian people for their existence. One day, people will certainly learn more about his military talent and courage. Two beautiful children can be proud of their father's exploits. The whole Ukraine will be proud of its faithful son.
