Serhii "Seryonya" Fedik is a fan of the Chornomorets football club (Odesa), a representative of the "Ultras Odesa" movement.
Serhiy Fedyk was born on September 11, 1989 in the city of Volnovakha, Donetsk region, later moved to Odessa, where he studied at school No. 78, and after graduating he entered the Odessa National Economic University. As a child, he practiced in the football section on Tairov, and also danced break dance.
At the age of 15, he joined the fan sector of Odessa "Chronomorets". In the same year, he made his first trip. During the period of active support of the club, Serhii became a well-known, and for many teammates, a cult personality of the fan movement. He participated in all the high-profile football-related actions of the movement in the zero - early 10s. His first team was the Sea Hunters, famous in those years.
Many fan stories are associated with Serhii. Teammates remember how one day he ran onto the field, ran up to the players of "Chornomorets" and started congratulating them with a scored goal. But then Odessa was missed. "It turned out inconvenient," said "Seryonya" and was twisted by the police. The additional effect of this situation was given by the fact that at this very time, his father was watching the game on TV. But Serhiy had to take an exam at the university, for which his father allocated funds.
The story of the fight with Zorya fans in 2012 is also memorable. At that match, Serhiy himself approached the away sector, and in the heat of the fight, together with the fans of the Luhansk club, rolled down the stairs of the Chornomorets stadium.
In the spring of 2014, "Seryonya" was one of those who did not allow pro-Russian collaborators to seize their native city. He took a direct part in the events of May 2 near the House of Trade Unions, where he was wounded. He was also an active participant in the resistance to the criminal authorities on the capital's Maidan.
In 2016, Serhiy became a volunteer for the defense of Ukraine as part of the "Sich" battalion. After reformatting the battalion, he continued his service in the Armed Forces until 2021.
During the years of participation in the ATO/OOS "Seryonya" he was a participant in battles in Sloviansk, Maryintsa, Shirokyny, Kurakhovo. He saved the life of his wounded brother by taking him to the evacuation point. He could not return to the "zero" position, but he answered: - "No, my brothers are there. I will return back!".
With the beginning of a full-scale war, Seryonya took up arms again. He fought in the ranks of the 28th OMBr named after Knights of the Winter Campaign. With battles, he left the village of Oleksandrivka in the Mykolaiv region, where he spent 23 days surrounded, fought battles near Davydovo Brod in the Kherson region. At the beginning of 2023, he stopped the enemy's offensive on the hottest direction of those days.
According to the recollections of his brothers, Serhiy was an example for others. Always walked in the first ranks during offensive operations.
Serhii Fedik died on March 24, 2023 near the village of Ozaryanivka (Bakhmut district). Friends, fans and brothers formed a living corridor and lit fireworks, seeing Serhiy on his last journey from the building of his native stadium "Chornomorets".
