Pavlo "Pakha" Harkusha is a fan of the football club "Kryvbas" (Kryvyi Rih), a representative of the "Old School Kryvbas" team.
Pavlo Yuriyovych Harkusha was born on July 5, 1990 in the city of Kryvyi Rih. He studied at school No. 110, after which he received his education at the Automotive Technical School in his hometown. Since childhood, he preferred to play football, loved fishing. He got his love for vehicles, especially motorcycles, from his father. At an early age, he became interested in playing the guitar, and already as a teenager he even created a school rock band, in which he also played with friends.
At the age of 16, he came to the fan stand of "Kryvbasa". His devotion to the red and white colors of the Kryvyi Rih movement was clearly evidenced by one of the cases. A fight with the fans of the principal, at that time, rival - "Vorskli" from Poltava, in the match against which "Pakha" exchanged its flat profile for a C-shaped "Greek" nose. In the breaks between halves, he always somehow managed to attract the attention of the girls. And he was also an avid fashionista of that time.
Friends and teammates remember Pavel as an incredibly easy-going person who was always ready to help. At the same time, he was prudent and considered his actions. Everyone was amazed at his talent to come out of conflict situations with a smile. But, if a fight was unavoidable, he was not afraid to stand up for the truth and his friends. In this way, "Pakha" combined many qualities that are not often found in people, and even less often - in total in someone. He was married and had a son Yaroslav.
Until 2014, he led a moderate lifestyle, worked as an auto mechanic and supported his favorite football team. True to his ideals and patriotic beliefs, he took up arms after the beginning of the Russian invasion in the East of the country. From May 2014 to 2015, he defended the Motherland during the anti-terrorist operation as part of the A1126 unit. After that, he joined the "Azov" regiment and served in Mariupol in 2016-17. After completing his service, he began to engage in public activities in the Odesa region. as part of the NGO "Public Security Council" (volunteer and military activity).
The day after the start of a full-scale war, he did not hesitate to defend the country again. He fought as part of the 25th Separate Airborne Sicheslav Brigade (Airborne Assault Troops of the Ukrainian Armed Forces). Pavlo Harkusha died while performing a combat mission in the area of the village. Rydkodub (Donetsk region) on September 23, 2022, having received shrapnel injuries incompatible with life. In the memory of relatives and friends, Pakha will forever remain a wonderful son and brother, the best father for his child, a true patriot of Ukraine who loved life and rock and roll.
