Oleksandr "Patriot" Kernytskyi is a fan of the Chornomorets football club (Odesa).
Oleksandr Serhiyovych Kernytskyi was born on February 19, 1985 in the city of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi (Odesa region). In 2002, he graduated from Odesa Secondary Experimental School No. 8, after which he entered the Odesa National Law Academy. In 2007, he received a master's degree in law.
Being the son of the former director of "Chornomorets" Serhii Kernytskyi, Oleksandr could not help cheering for the football players in black and blue uniforms. He successfully combined the active support of the team at the stadiums and beyond with the work as a legal advisor at the club. Coming to this position after completing his studies at the academy in 2007, he devoted more than 10 years of his life to it. Since 2018, he has worked as a lawyer, a guide of the international group of companies "Prosport". In 2016, Oleksandr himself became a father, his son was also named Sergey, like his grandfather.
From the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion, the reserve lieutenant stood up for the defense of Ukraine. "Patriot" defended his native land as a grenade launcher of the Odesa 28th OMBr named after Knights of the Winter Campaign, participating in the defense of Mykolaiv. Having no military experience, he, along with his friend and teammate Andriy Koromyslo, were in the first wave of those who took up arms.
Oleksandr Kernytskyi and his brother died on March 29, 2022 in the area of Oleksandrivka village (Kherson region). Before the liberation of Kherson Oblast, they were considered missing. They said goodbye to the Warriors at the end of November 2022 on the territory of the Chornomorets stadium, from the stands of which friends once fervently cheered for their favorite team.
