Oleksandr "Adams" Derevyanko is a fan of the football clubs "Dnipro" (Cherkasy) and "Dynamo" (Kyiv), representative of the team "Albatross" ("Dynamo").

Oleksandr Anatoliyovych Derevyanko was born on November 23, 1997. He was born in Smila, Cherkasy region, where he spent his childhood until the age of 10. He went to the first grade of school number 12, where he studied until the third quarter of the 4th grade. The next 5 years he lived in the village. Voznesenske, Zolotoni district. He studied at Voznesensk Secondary School, the class teacher was Makarenko Volodymyr Mykolayovych, who began to develop a love for Ukrainianness and patriotism. It was there that he fell in love with football, so he played in the school team, and then in the village team. After the 9th grade, he entered the Cherkasy commercial technical school, at the day department, moved to the city of Cherkasy. Studied food production from 2013 to 2017.

Having come to the podium, in 2014 at the age of 16, he immediately joined the fan sector of the Cherkasy club, which became a second family for him, supported the team at almost all home and away matches, from where his conscious and adult life path began. Having joined the "Lyutychi" team, in which representatives of the young generation of Cherkasy local football gathered, he tried to develop a fan movement among young people. In 2016/17, together with a friend, he scored the "Golden Season" for "Dnipro Cherkasy". "Gold" for Alexander and his friend was full of various fun and interesting moments. By the way, after the first topics, he chose the pseudonym "Kazimir", this is a kind of allegory with the artist Kazimir Malevich, because he painted pictures, and Oleksandr wanted to "paint" the faces of opponents on the topics, so he began to constantly visit the city's gyms. Engaged in MMA, boxing and sambo. Winning prose places at competitions - he surprised the coaches with his progress, because he started practicing from an adult age. It is at this time that the tattoo "Stronger than steel" appears on his chest.

After graduating from the technical school, through sports and respect for the fallen fan Ambros, whom he looked up to, Oleksandr joined the local branch of the "National Corps", from where he was invited to work in the "Azovets" children's camp in Kyiv. The work was easy, because the young man loved children and carefully watched how they became stronger in the camp. Since then, he lived in Kyiv, joined Dynamo fans, visited sectors. The first "topic" took place on the road, in the capital of the Czech Republic - Prague, thanks to his friend Kudo Kazimir got into the "Albatross" team, where he quickly became an active and important member. It is important that thanks to his dedication in training and fights, Oleksandr quickly earned respect and love in the new team.
However, he constantly returned to Cherkasy, since in parallel with the camp he studied at the Cherkasy branch of the "European University" at the correspondence department, earning a Bachelor's degree in Management. He received his diploma in 2020. In 2019, he joined the ranks of the "National Friends", where he served for a year before the regiment, so he lived most of the time in Kyiv. All this time, since 2017, he continued to participate in wrestling competitions in various cities of the country.

In September 2020, Oleksandr became a soldier of the "Azov" regiment, having previously passed a difficult selection, where he received the call sign "Adams". Served in an infantry company, was a gunner of the Spartan armored car. At the same time, he did not forget to improve in martial arts, participated in competitions among Azov residents, often finding himself among the prize-winners.

He met the beginning of a full-scale war in Mariupol, where he had lived for two years at that time. As Oleksandr's mother recalls, starting from March 1, communication with her son was limited to 30 seconds a day. During these half minutes, he reported that he was alive and asked whether Kyiv had survived. The news that the capital did not surrender to the enemy gave the fighters strength and motivation to continue the fight. At that time, fierce battles were already taking place in the city.

Adams' brother-in-law with the call sign "Kraft", who was with him in Mariupol, recalls the following:
"After going to the concentration area on February 24, we met in the first days of March, when we stood in the same position.

There already during shelling and contacts with the enemy, I saw that he became even braver, constantly tried to look for positive things in situations, and joked a lot, because jokes were a cure for fear and raised fighting spirit.
I am happy that I went with him on the way from submitting documents to the OZSP "Azov" to fighting in one formation against the orcs who came to seize our land and destroy the very concept of Ukraine."

A friend of "Adams" says:
"At the last meeting, Sasha was happy. He lived and enjoyed the holy mission of protecting his Motherland.
In the early days, he recorded the voice of him already beating enemies. He said that he is already on the verge of measurements, but everything will definitely be fine. That's how he was, strong until the last day. Not only physically.
He was a warrior who was not afraid of defeat, but on the contrary, it hardened his spirit and forced him to go forward. His words are etched in my memory: "We will stand until the end, because there is no turning back. No one will back down."
I am happy that I knew him. Sasha was the strongest spirit of everyone I knew and will know in my life."
"You need to live your life so that after death you will be remembered for your deeds" - war does not tolerate cowards, but takes away heroes who will go to any battle, even if it is the last.
"Adams" on his "Spartan" engaged in fire cover, helping his comrades to get out of the shelling, taking out the wounded.

Oleksandr Derevyanko died on April 3 during a combat mission. Having left the territory of "Azovstal", the crew reached the positions where the enemy had already surrounded their comrades. After assessing the situation, the crew decided to direct the armored vehicle towards the enemy, diverting attention to themselves and opening a way to escape from the encirclement of their comrades, the vehicle was hit by enemy fire. A 24-year-old defender of Ukraine died saving his brothers. The body of the brave Warrior was taken to "Azovstal". Many fighters who were evacuated from the besieged city by helicopters, or managed to return from captivity, are alive today precisely thanks to friend "Adams".

In memory of Oleksandr, his mother, Hanna Derevyanko, left boxes with some of the things he brought after signing the contract, among them: fan stickers, sports medals, as well as his commemorative T-shirts and children's drawings from the Azovets camp, where once "Adams" worked as a tutor. Some things and a laptop that he managed to send to her shortly before the start of the great war.
On July 19, 2022, he was awarded the Order "For Courage" III degree.
