Maksym "Pirotechnik" Lazoryshyn is a fan of the "Kalush" football club.
Maksym Viktorovych Lazoryshyn was born on March 18, 2001 in the city of Ivano-Frankivsk, and since 2002 his family has been living in the city of Kalush (Ivano-Frankivsk region). He studied at school No. 2 and Kaluska VPTU No. 7, where he obtained the specialty "cook-waiter". During his school years, he was involved in aircraft modeling, athletics and orienteering, and was fond of cooking.
Rys Maxim in a large family. When he was 11 years old, his father left the family, so the boy, together with his sisters, helped his mother with the upbringing of his younger brother. He started working at the age of 15 to help his family financially. He worked as a cook, waiter-bartender in catering establishments in Kalush and Ivano-Frankivsk. Such life circumstances influenced the formation of the young man's strong character. He was serious, responsible, balanced, made adult decisions for his age, undertook obligations, and at the same time was extremely kind, energetic and cheerful.
In 2016, Maksym, while still studying at school, became interested in the social life of Kalush and joined the public organization "Young People's Movement" and "Union of Catholic Youth". The main direction of these organizations is the upbringing of young people in a patriotic and Christian spirit, the organization of schools, volunteer activities, etc. Actively participated in many events of these organizations, in particular in volunteer actions. The first action was to collect plastic caps and funds for the prosthetics of wounded soldiers in the ATO zone, where Maxim showed great activity and did a lot to ensure that the funds were collected and handed over to volunteers in the shortest possible time.
He first came to the fan stand of FC "Kalush" at the age of 15, attending a red-black match. The weather that day was rainy and the team could not please their fans with the result, but Maksym firmly decided for himself that he wants to become an active fan of Kalush. And already in 2018, he was one of the founders of the Kaluga fan movement, which received its "second wind" when Maxim together with his brothers decided to restore the ultras group in the city. He got the nickname "Pyrotechnician" due to the fact that he was always responsible for ordering pyrotechnics for all matches, marches and performances, knew all wholesale suppliers, and always skillfully calculated the amount of pyrotechnics needed for one or another match.
In 2019, when Maxim turned 18, he decided to serve. Having chosen the border troops, he signed a contract with the Canine Training Center of the Western Regional Department of the State Security Service of Ukraine, later the 7th Border Carpathian Detachment. During his service, he participated in the international military exercises "Rapid Trident 2020" at the Yavoriv training ground and the special operation "Polyssia" on the Belarusian border in June 2021. Acquired new knowledge and improved his skills and abilities. He was an instructor in tactical medicine, an instructor in the use of group weapons.
At the beginning of the full-scale war, Maksym had already received the rank of senior sergeant and served as a 2nd-category inspector of the border service, a machine gunner, as part of the Shkval special unit of the commandant's rapid response command.
Together with its comrades-in-arms, "Pyrotechnic" carried out tasks almost throughout the territory where hostilities were conducted. Brothers remember Maxim as a faithful and reliable friend. Determined and resourceful, there was no problem he couldn't solve. When the crews were formed for the combat departure and the guys wrote the list of partners, everyone had Max as their number one.
The experience of participating in the ultras movement was also accepted at the front, "Pirotechnik" knew where and how to find the necessary equipment or equipment, took care of the material support of his comrades.
Another combat visit to Donetsk region was the last for the 21-year-old defender. On January 15, 2023, while performing official duties near the city of Soledar, Maksym Lazoryshyn died. By the decree of the President of Ukraine dated July 26, 2023, he was awarded the "Defender of the Fatherland" medal (posthumously).
