Konstantin "Islam" Belimenko is a fan of "Metalist" football club (Kharkiv) and a representative of Nord Side Firm team.
Konstantin Belimenko was born on August 6, 1994 in the village of Pisochin (Kharkiv region). He studied at school number 39, and after the 9th grade, he entered Kharkiv State Automobile Transport College. After finishing his studies at the college, he became a student at Kharkiv National University of Civil Engineering and Architecture. "Islam" was fond of martial arts and trained a lot. Since childhood, he was engaged in wrestling, sambo, and judo. When he became older, he mastered kickboxing and Thai boxing, took part in nationwide competitions, and won prizes.
His strong spirit and enthusiasm led Konstantin to the "Metalist" fan stands, where he joined the NSF team. He was a participant in some well-known around football events in the early 2010s as a member of the Kharkiv block. With the beginning of the Revolution of Dignity, he actively fought for pro-Ukrainian positions on the Maidan in Kyiv and in his native Kharkiv. He was involved in the battles in Rymarska Street on the night of March 14 to 15, 2014, and defended the "Prosvita" building from attacks of separatists and pro-russian militants.
In the summer of 2014 Konstantin was defending the integrity of Ukraine in the east, and became a soldier of a separate special forces detachment "Azov" military unit 3057, where he took the call sign "Islam". On August 4, 2014, he battled for the liberation of Maryinka (Donetsk region) and was injured due to the explosion of a radio-controlled landmine. Comrades from fan movements of Cherkasy and Mykolaiv helped the soldier. After the treatment and rehabilitation, he remained an active member of the "Azov" movement. In November 2015, Konstantin was awarded the Medal "Defender of Mariupol", and later the Presidential Award "For Participation in the Anti-Terrorist Operation". In 2020, he returned to military service, where he served as an instructor (scout) of the 2nd division of the 1st Special Forces Reconnaissance Combat Group of the Azov Regiment, military unit 3057 of the NGU.
Konstantin Belimenko met the full-scale offensive of russian invaders in Mariupol, where the "Azov" garrison was holding back the enemy invasion. The courageous Kharkiv citizen fell in melee on March 20, during the storming of one of the positions. He died together with Yevhen "Malyi" Yeshchenko - a representative of the Mykolaiv fan group "Buzkyi Gard", with whom he had been friends for many years. In the summer of 2022, he was planning to marry his fiancee Olga but sacrificed his life for the future of our country. He was awarded the Medal "For Courage", III degree (posthumously).
