Ivan "Molotov" Kurylenko is a fan of the "Dnipro" football club, a representative of the "Derzost y Molodost" team.

Ivan Petrovich Kurylenko was born on July 31, 1993 in the city of Dnipro. He studied at school No. 138, after graduating from which he became a student of the Dnipropetrovsk Industrial College, and after graduating he entered the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine. Since childhood, he was fond of cars and motorcycle culture, in his youth he spent a lot of time in the garage with his friend repairing cars and motorcycles. He has been boxing since he was 16. As a child, he was restless, constantly quarreled and often fought with his older brother Andrii (who died on April 4, 2022 in Mariupol).

The fan sector of "Dnipro" began to visit since 2011. He supported the team not only in the stands, but was always ready to defend his native colors on the street. Later, he joined the "Derzost y Molodost" team, which at that time gathered the strongest representatives of the younger generation to become a worthy replacement for older teammates from the legendary "Avangard". Also, Ivan repeatedly stood side by side with his friends from the capital "Dynamo", and even later from Kharkiv "Metalist".

In the fan team, Ivan was an important person, a participant in all important events and a member of the first team. He paid a lot of attention to youth development. He always fought in the first ranks and had considerable respect. Friends remember Ivan as a decent and reliable person, ready to do anything to fight for the truth and come to the aid of those in need. You could always rely on him, despite the complexity of the situation. In Dnipro, he was known for his nationalist views, and in his life he adhered to the principles of "Straight Edge", which exclude bad habits and encourage a healthy lifestyle in every possible way. Musical taste was also in line with life views. Friends and acquaintances could often meet a hardcore fan at the concerts of the local music group "Three Hills City".

It was these views that he promoted in the city, being an example for others thanks to his useful deeds. One of his close friends recalls: - "I know many people for whom Ivan was an older brother. Having a knack for rallying people around him, he was an example for many in his environment. Both young boys and adults looked up to him . Raised a large number of strong ideological people who are now successfully defending our country. At the same time, he always remained positive, smiled and joked a lot."

With the beginning of the war in the east of Ukraine, like many of his teammates, "Molotov" took up arms. In 2014-15, he spent as a member of "Azov". He served in intelligence, "flew" on the "Stork" UAV. After returning to civilian life, he worked a lot on the development of the nationalist movement in Dnipro. He headed the local branch of the "National Corps" party. Constantly insisting on the importance of sports for like-minded people and the younger generation, he became a co-founder of the "Avangard" sports hall. Since 2018, Ivan has been a regular participant in the "Race of the Nation" competition. In addition, together with fellow friends, much attention was paid to the preparation of the population for the great war, the approach of which he had no doubt. They were waiting for a child with their beloved Yulia.

On the first day of the full-scale invasion, Ivan and Julia were abroad. But as soon as everything started on February 24, they were looking for a way to return to Ukraine, and in a few days they succeeded. Immediately after his return, he joined the ranks of the 98th battalion of TrO, created by former Azov citizens and football fans, taking a new call sign - "Walter". Having the experience of participating in military operations, he performed tasks in the south-east of the country. On June 1, 2022, during one of these tasks, Ivan Kurylenko died. He was buried at the Jubilee Cemetery in the city of Dnipro.
