Dmytro "Sectant" Linsky is a fan of the football club Metalist (Kharkiv), and a representative of the "WTF" team.
Dmytro Sergeevich Linsky was born on January 08, 1995, in Krasnograd (Kharkiv region). The passion for football led the young fan to the fan stands of "Metalist", and later to the "WTF" team, which at the beginning of its history was the concentration of young people of the well-known Kharkiv City Patriots. With the beginning of the revolutionary events in the country, Dmytro, like the vast majority of fans, resisted the criminal regime. Seeking freedom for the Ukrainian nation, he joined the Azov movement in 2015. Initially, he joined the National Corps, and in 2016 he became a member of the Azov Movement.
Before joining Azov, he lived in Kyiv for a while, where he communicated with representatives of the capital's fan movements. Relatives recall that Dmytro was aware in advance that there would be a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, and he was constantly preparing for it. He was never afraid of the challenges of fate and was ready to sacrifice his life for his Motherland. "Sectant" was always a friend to his sworn brothers and respected everyone, and most importantly - he knew the value of friendship. In recent years, he helped his commander Stanislav Partala, and they became friends. He was meticulous about his work, and his colleagues could always rely on Dmytro. He was awarded by the President of Ukraine for participation in the ATO.
The "Sectant" had many hobbies and loved outdoor activities. In addition to training at the landfill, participating in boxing and football competitions, he was engaged in diving courses, and skydiving. He desired to go to sniper shooting competitions. He read many books on sniper tactics, his favorite movie was "American Sniper". Dmytro was greatly affected by the death of his comrade "Barrett" in March 2018. We can say that this loss has changed him greatly. Azov's relatives recall that he was sensitive to each loss. In those moments, he had a thirst for revenge for each of his friends. At the same time, Dmytro was a kind, sincere, caring son, husband, and father. At the end of every day, he called his mother and grandmother. It was very important to him.
He lived in civil marriage with his beloved and had many plans for the future. He planned to get married officially in the spring of 2022, buy a house in Mariupol, and make a world boxing champion out of his stepson, whom he had raised since the age of six. But, unfortunately, these plans were not destined to come true. Dmytro Linskyi fell in a battle on February 28, 2022. The sniper of the 2nd Special Forces reconnaissance unit of the first battalion of the Azov Army was performing a combat task in Mariupol. His last words to his beloved were: "Everything will be fine, I am always with you!". Between 17:00 and 18:00, Dmytro was gone. The body of the brave warrior has not yet been returned from Mariupol, but his family believes that they will be able to say goodbye to Dmytro the way he had wanted. On March 17, he was awarded the Medal "For Courage", III degree (posthumously).
