Denis Kotenko was born on May 18, 1996 in the city of Dnipro. From a young age, the father, who himself was professionally engaged in football, began to lead his son to the stadium. Denis adored football and wanted to play himself, but could not because of bronchial asthma. Meanwhile, in the upper classes of the school, he began to go to the Dnipro Fanat sector where he found real friends with whom he attended home and visiting matches, and also fought a lot, defending the honor of his club.

He joined the later collective "Perspective 14", which was considered to be young generations already known throughout the country of senior comrades from "Mid". Cyril "Sapsan" - a close friend and a classmate Denis, will later tell journalists: "Denis was smaller than me, so he" flew "a little more often. He felt so much perseverance and strength - much more than in other people. He always fought Like a real warrior and was ready to stand until the end. " The parents were not delighted with the abroadball hobbies of the son, but to force the freedom boy to leave the movement - it was not possible to dream.

At the same time, Denis studied well at the school, and after graduation, he was able to join the budget at the Dniprovsky National University of Oles Honchar. Choosing between political science and history - he chose the second discipline, because he was interested and studied everything related to the past of our country. In parallel with this, "Skipper" made the first steps of music. It also played a great role here by his sincere admiration for the history of Ukraine and patriotic beliefs.

Having developed a shortage of writing texts, the talented Dnieper became known throughout the country, just as the author and the performer of songs. Written in 2012, the composition on the knees in front of Ukraine, became a clear hit among the domestic fan community, quickly going out of exclusively ultrasen scene. Music has completely captured Denis and his friend Roman Gromov, a co -author of many texts. Together, they created about three hundred texts, many of which at one time knew every Ukrainian fan, listening to them in the player during the long hours of the road for the field of the favorite team. Most of them were devoted to their native club, the city, and also aroused patriotic feelings.

Denis met the Denis Revolution in the first year of the university. He did not finish the next academic year. That year, many fans of the Dnipro stood up for the Motherland, taking weapons. One evening, in November 2014, Shkper said at home that he would perform in one of the city clubs, instead he went with his friends to the capital to join the Azov battalion then. The parents tried to refuse their son, and even went to Kiev, but he remained adamant in his decision. As a volunteer participated in the battles for the release of Shirokine.

Returning from the front in the summer of 2015, he resumed a correspondence form of study at the university. In his hometown he was taken care of by active public activity within the framework of the Azov Civil Corps. He was awarded the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Prize for special achievements of young people in the development of Ukraine. He later moved to Kiev where he lived with his wife and son. The last six months before the start of a full -scale war, Denis worked in the press service of the Ministry of Veterans, where he was responsible for writing, installation and dissemination of content, wrote articles for social networks.

Colleagues on the work mention that in the winter of 2022, Denis provided a great war, as well as the inevitability of the battle for Kyiv. When the Russians began a full -scale invasion, the Dnieper removed the family abroad and began to evacuate people. In a week, he told his colleagues that he was going to stand up for weapons.

Among the many open-minded people with combat experience in the East, he chose the Azov for the second time, where, as in the mid-10-ies, there were a large number of fan traffic representatives. There is no doubt that Denis's creative heritage will continue to live in, with more than one generation of patriotic youth to great achievements. On June 6, 2022 he was awarded the Order of Courage III (posthumously).
