Artem "TT" Pevko was a fan of the football club "Metalist" (Kharkiv) and a member of the group "Glory Juniors."
Artem Dmytrovych Pevko was born on June 7, 2000, in Kharkiv. He studied at School No. 143 for grades 1-3. After finishing school in 2018, he received a degree in Electromechanics for the repair and maintenance of computing machines. He was a very active young man, eager for adventure, and in 2016, he joined the fan sector of "Metalist." There, he found true friends, memorized insurgent songs, and devoted all his energy to supporting the team in the stadium.
In 2017, he joined the football community group "Glory Juniors." He had many memories of away games and great stories from these trips, where he made new friends in every city. With a strong patriotic stance, he also joined the Azov movement in his hometown in the same year, where he engaged in educational activities and worked on national-patriotic upbringing of children.
The process of educating youth had great significance for Artem. He grew up without a father, and his mother raised him and his younger sister. But his uncle gave him the bravery and experience that he lacked. He had a great respect for his mother, who raised a true man with a brave heart. Friends remember "TT" as a person who was always ready to help anyone in need and who always lifted spirits despite the circumstances.
From the first moments of the full-scale invasion, he calmed his loved ones and went to the gathering place of volunteers, where he joined the unit that later became known as "KRAKEN." He received a weapon, put on a uniform, and stood up to defend his motherland. Artem Pevko died on March 3, 2022, as a result of an enemy rocket hitting the building of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.
His motto was "Together to the end," which was always in his heart and on his lips. As it turned out, he was with his friends until the very end, who became his brothers from February 24, 2022.
