Anton “Yakut” Salnis is a fan of FC “Mykolaiv” and a representative of the «Buzkyi Guard» team.
Anton Salnis was born on March 22, 1996. Since childhood he was engaged in sports, after his father had signed him up for a boxing class. But in addition to martial arts, he loved football from a very young age. So once, being spectators with his brother at an exhibition match “Mykolaiv” - “Crystal” (Kherson) – which was a confrontation with a principal rival, Anton got to the stands. Then there was the first trip at the age of 15, which he also made with his brother under the standard excuse of “participating in the competition”. Next came the first fight and victory. «Yakut» had always taken an active part in the life of the around-football movement in their city. Graffiti, banners, fire shows. In 2012, along with his friends, they formed the “Cadets” team, where Anton was one of the leaders. A bit later the company joined the “B.G” block which included two local teams. Anton went to every football match under any circumstances. After the return of the “B.G.” to the city in 2015, “Yakut” was already a full representative of the team, which would later become widely known not only in Ukraine but also far beyond its borders. On February 23, Anton had tickets to France, where he was supposed to fly the next day. He encountered the beginning of the full-scale war at Odesa airport. Anton immediately returned to Mykolaiv and joined the volunteers to participate in the defense of the almost surrounded city along with his comrades from the “Buzkyi Guard”.
Anton Salnis' life ended on March 29 as a result of an enemy missile attack on the building of Mykolaiv Regional Administration. That day 37 people were killed under the rubble of a partially destroyed building, including employees of the Regional State Administration, representatives of the territorial defense, and servicemen. Anton will remain in everyone's memories as a true patriot of his city and Ukraine. Kind and brave - a real man who is always ready to be of help at difficult times.
